Radio NB-KGNB | October 17, 2014
(New Braunfels, TX) — The preliminary engineering phase of the Alves Lane Improvement Project is moving forward and now the city has scheduled a public input meeting to discuss the project. Residents in that area of town are encouraged to attend that meeting, which is set for Oct. 29th at 6pm at Canyon Middle School.
The Alves Lane project, which is a part of the city’s 2013 Bond Program, includes sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, improved drainage in an area (which connects multiple residential and commercial areas), and road improvements that should alleviate traffic congestion on Hwy 46. At the meeting, the contractor for the project, M&S Engineering, will present the proposed plan for those improvements and city staff will also be on hand to field questions about the project. Again, that meeting is set for Oct. 29th at 6pm at Canyon Middle School.
