Crystal Clear SUD Honors Civil Design Team
Crystal Clear Special Utility District honored M&S Engineering at their Board of Directors Meeting on May 24, 2016, by offering recognition on a recently completed Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The Civil Engineering Department’s Water Utility Team had been studying and analyzing the District’s water system and service areas, in order to provide recommendations for projects that will allow the District better serve their customers now and for the foreseeable future.
“The staff at M&S has been fundamental in building the CIP for Crystal Clear SUD and in guiding the board of directors in all aspects of the overall concepts utilized. They have been able to explain things in manageable segments that have assured understanding at all director experience levels. We greatly appreciate their professionalism and true partnership with the Crystal Clear organization.”

A week after the Crystal Clear Board of Director’s Meeting, during the quarterly M&S Board of Directors meeting at the M&S office in Spring Branch, members of the Crystal Clear SUD presented M&S Engineering with a Resolution of Appreciation, recognizing the team for the support and assistance to Crystal Clear SUD in developing this CIP.
“We are very proud of the services that we provide to Crystal Clear SUD and the relationships that we have formed with the entire staff and Directors. To be recognized by the CCSUD Board of Directors in this way means a great deal to us. We are so thankful for that recognition and will continue to provide the level of service that they have come to expect from M&S Engineering”
Brady Kosub, PE, Project Manager at M&S Engineering
Our Civil Engineering Water Utility Team began working with Crystal Clear to develop this five-year Capital Improvements Plan in October of 2015 and presented the final document to the District in February 2016. The CIP will provide Crystal Clear with insight to help the District succeed in serving new customers and bettering existing service to new customers as well as an analysis of their water system to determine the condition and longevity of their current infrastructure to predict maintenance and operations requirements for the next five years and beyond, how to effectively supply new connections, and maintain compliance with TCEQ regulations.
Our team has had the privilege to develop a relationship with Crystal Clear Special Utility District since April of 2014 and has been greatly honored and equally surprised by this recognition. It is our hope to continue providing Crystal Clear with the level of service and responsiveness they have come to expect from our team.
“This partnership we have forged will launch our District well into the future. With a supportive Board we have focused on developing relationships that bond us with our consultants as partners rather than tools that we use. We feel that we have a very symbiotic relationship with our team at M&S. Dr. Davidson recognized the quality of the CIP and brought it to the Board’s attention. The Board unanimously supported tangible recognition for M&S.”
Mike Taylor, CCSUD General Manager
