A 450 acre residential subdivision developed by Stadler & Leatham Development for which M&S Engineering provided the master planning, engineering and design of the entire development. Services included street design, drainage, surveying and flood management. This project was located over a heavily regulated aquifer. Included in our scope was modification to US Highway 46 as required to include a new turning lane for the neighborhood. All road design and construction was performed in accordance with TxDOT regulations amount of additional permitting through the Edward’s Aquifer Division of TCEQ. M&S Engineering provided design for multiple detention ponds that were required as a result of this inundation study, which was performed in-house. Also, resulting from the inundation study was an established, non-regulated, floodplain for the development from which lots were sized and location was established.
