SW30 Three Phase Construction

The Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative requested services from M&S Engineering for the conversion of approximately 2.5 miles of 1/0 aluminum overhead single phase line to a 1/0 ACSR three phase line in Bastrop County.
M&S performed field staking of the line to meet Bluebonnet’s specifications and transferred this to electronic staking sheets in Bluebonnet’s Partner software system. The design of this line included use of expanding foam to provide intermediate backfill for structural support on all un-guyed three phase poles.

Verification of condition and integrity of utility poles located in the first two spans of all single phase primary taps in the project area was performed as well. Two programmable sectionalizers were added and all foreign attachments clearances were verified or corrected as needed.

This is the start of a Successful Relationship
